Can Plasma Pen Leave Scars?

Treatments

You’ve probably once wondered if a plasma pen can leave scars? Oh, yes! Of course, it can!

Can Plasma Pen Leave Scars?

Like any other device or tool, if not used properly, it can have consequences. For example, a laser, a PMU machine, and a microblading knife.

What I have seen most often when dealing with plasma pen, are the scars when working on the region of wrinkles under the eye. Aestheticians think that if they do this treatment deeper, and if they press it, a better effect will be achieved. Just the opposite is true for this technique. The more superficial and milder the work, the better the effect. The essence of the treatment is to tighten the surface of the skin and not to go into the deeper layers. If we go into the deeper layers, we will make scars or blemishes. It is very simple.

Another case where I have seen damage is when doing the Phi Ion technique on a flat surface. If, for example, you do stretch marks or scars that are flat in their center and have side uneven edges, you are allowed to work only on the uneven regions. Why? Because the Plasma technique tightens the uneven and sagging skin. Plasma treatment has no effect on flat and tight skin. More precisely, if you work on flat and tight skin, then holes are created in the skin, which can cause scars.

You should be very careful because the skin is not of the same thickness in all regions, somewhere it is thicker with larger folds and somewhere it is thinner with shallow wrinkles. The forehead or eyelid can’t be treated in the same way. It is even important when treating one wrinkle, it shouldn’t be treated with the same force in the central part where it is deep as at its ends where it is shallow. The regions, where you should take care and where the skin is thinner and more sensitive, are the eyelids, the area under the eye, neck.

When using the Plasma fibroblast technique, it is necessary to consider the following steps:

  • deeper layers of skin mustn’t be treated
  • the device must not be pressed against the skin during the treatment, and
  • proper skin care after the treatment. If the client doesn’t follow all the rules of skincare (sun protection, skin lubrication, and aftercare…), skin damage and hyperpigmentation can also occur

Why is all this happening?

The Phi-Ion pen uses the plasma state of matter. The principle involves the ionization of gases from the atmospheric air to create micro electrical discharge causing sublimation (direct turn solid substance in gas) of the excessive/sagging superficial skin layer. So, the essence of proper work is the very mild and superficial treatment of sagging skin.

It is very important to follow all the steps in the work during this treatment. That is why the technique is learned from the start step by step with practice in smaller regions, under the supervision of the Master. Phi Ion technician approaches the client responsibly, with previously learned work steps and principles of work techniques.

In this way, there is absolutely no fear of possible consequences. And my students don’t need to worry but they can do the treatment in a relaxed way because they will learn properly to perform the technique from the very beginning.

In my experience, online students are very successful just because they are focused on reading the lessons themselves, going through the video material, and then, with my support, they do treatments on clients. They are very attentive and focused on their work. It is a complete success giving very successful Technicians.

In my Phi Ion course, there is a theoretical part with many lessons on techniques, skin, and skin care after the treatment as well as video material on how to do the treatment step by step. And all this with my support because you can contact me at any time during the 3 months of the course.

If you want to become a certified Phi Ion technician with knowledge in hand and with confidence in yourself and the technique.
